Reflection

This semester in PVA, i choose music. The teacher for this class is Ibu Megan. This semester we did the Creative cycle. I learnt how to play new songs on the drums, tambourine, and kolintang. We played Hey Jude by The Beatles, Superstition by Stevie Wonder, and Thriller by Michael Jackson.
This year i improved playing drums on front of a public audience, after all, this is only my second time playing music on front of an audience. Although i still need to improve my drumming skills because i wan’t able to play thriller. Therefore i just played the kolintang in that song instead.
Although i don’t think everyone else tried their hardest, i feel like the some singers could of sang louder and that i should of practised thriller more before and between class.
Other than that I’m happy with the performance although there are some things we could have improved. This semester we ran into a problem of not having enough time to practise.

Reflection

So far this is what we did:

  • Make a blog
  • Find Strengths and Weaknesses
  • Investigate
  • Choose Topic
  • Find bands from different decades
  • Make a reflection
Reflection:
I think so far we are still having good time managing and are still on track with time. I also think we choose the right topic for our creation (forward to the past) basically its playing and make a medley of the most famous bands though-out the decades
